Information for Our Out-of-town Guests
Our office is conveniently located 30 minutes from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport. We have hotels and restaurants all around us. Our patient concierge will assist you with your travel plans as well as your treatment coordination. We will complete your dental procedures in a timely manner by devoting all our resources to your treatment.
We have an in-house ceramic laboratory and the broad range of training you need for successful results. Dr. Sowell and Dr. Chen complete smile makeovers, reconstructions, and implant services in an efficient and comprehensive manner.
A typical scenario would be as follows:
Travel to our office with your planned arrival time before noon on Thursday. Dr. Chen, Dr. Sowell, and our staff will review your dental and medical history during the first meeting. A comprehensive examination will follow, including digital imaging, radiography, tooth-by-tooth and periodontal examinations, and diagnostic casts of your teeth. After evaluating the results of the exam, Dr. Chen and Dr. Sowell will provide a treatment plan.
When ready to proceed with your comprehensive or cosmetic dentistry treatment, the treatment will commence the following day. We will solely devote Friday and also Saturday to your dental needs. A final check of the prototype restorations would occur Monday morning. The dentist will bond the final porcelain restoration permanently on Thursday.
For your comfort, we may prescribe a sedative to take early on the day of your treatment appointment. In such cases, we may provide transportation to-and-from our office for you.
