It's true: You really can snooze through your dental appointment! It is also very safe. Here's how it works:
Your companion will accompany you to the office. When you arrive, I will review any questions you may have and then give you two pills, put on the programming of your choice, and let the medications have an hour to take effect to make you completely comfortable. Depending on your needs, I may also use intravenous (IV) medications to ensure that you are completely comfortable for your dental treatment. Either way, you can be sure of absolute comfort during your care.
We take complete care of youWhen you arrive in our office, you will be escorted into the comfort room, where we give you a thick, cozy blanket and place you on a monitor to watch your vital signs. You are never alone. After you're comfortable, my experienced clinical team and I will take complete care of you!
You'll feel nothingYou'll feel no pain, and will have little or no memory of the experience.
You won't be unconscious
Instead, you will be in a deeply relaxed state, and you will be responsive.
You'll snooze for several hours
You will snooze for up to 5 or 6 hours. The time will vary, depending on your treatment.
When we complete your treatment, your companion will return you home to finish your comfortable, relaxing day.
