Is your dental health worth the investment?

The mouth is an important and even wondrous part of our anatomy, our emotions, and our life. It is the site of our very being. The mouth is the means of speaking, expressing love, happiness and joy, and ill temper or sorrow. It is the primary sex contact: hence, it is the initial import to our regeneration and survival by food and propagation. Additionally, it can be the source of infection and life threatening health conditions like HEART DISEASE, STROKE, RESPIRATORY DISEASE, ALZHEIMER'S AND DIABETES. Poor dental health markedly worsens all these diseases, as well as cause low birth weight babies in pregnant women. It's not just about enhancing your appearance, success in business, in life and your self-esteem, but it is about your health and your longevity in life. For a long, fulfilling life your mouth deserves the greatest care it can receive at any sacrifice.

"My Success story goes something like this. At the age of 9 years old, I stopped smiling. I was teased by other children and by my own siblings all my childhood. I decided that no one would get the opportunity to make fun of me anymore so I stopped smiling. As I grew older, not having a smile hindered me from many opportunities for personal growth. Low self esteem became my greatest enemy due to my fear of smiling. What would people think of me whenever they looked at me and saw my crooked and discolored teeth – it was all I could think about. For many years, I sought out many dental professionals for help, only to walk away feeling hopeless. Most dental professionals would reprimand me saying, "I was at fault for the condition of my teeth." But somehow, through all the years of hearing that, I kept hope alive deep within my heart. I dreamed that someday I would possess a beautiful smile and I would be able to speak eloquently without fearing that someone would be looking at my teeth and judging me.

"in June of 2006, I had a date with destiny. I met Dr. Sowell and his staff for a free consult. Then, I quickly scheduled a second appointment to hear the findings of my first appointment and whether there was something that could be done for me. Dr. Sowell informed me that I would be a good candidate for dental implants. Needless to say, I felt overjoyed -- finally I could see a long-awaited dream coming true.

"On January 3, 2007, Dr. Sowell and his kind staff unveiled my new smile. My self esteem soared through the roof. I have confidence that I never had before. I feel I can finally reach and attain my life goals. Dr. Sowell, I thank you and your staff for making me feel special through all the visits, surgery and, finally, my new smile. I'm forever grateful to all of you!"

"Most People have no idea Just how important their teeth are"

“Let me tell you how the process of going from an upper denture and a few lower working teeth with a partial went for me. Every few years or so, I would have a lower tooth flare up on me and give me really bad toothaches. My tooth would hurt for days and keep me up at night. Sometimes, it would even swell up and, as a Chiropractor, you can imagine how bad that looks to my own patients. I knew after years of neglect that it was time to start taking care of my dental health. So, I searched the web and found Dr. Sowell's office. After my initial visit, I knew this was the place for me.

After my first and only big surgery, I was sore for a couple of days, but I had pain pills to take care of that. It was on a Thursday and I was back to work functioning fine by the following Monday! That was great to not have to miss any work. Plus, I haven't been in any pain the last two months with these temporary denture healing teeth. I never realized what a thorn my teeth used to be and how they were affecting my life in a negative way. I was always in pain. For the last 30 years I've been dealing with constant pain and infection in my body from my teeth. It amazing how much better my body has felt since I got my old infected teeth out of my body. I sleep better, don't have earaches anymore and my appetite is up! I'm just so much happier in general. I never realized how big of an impact my teeth could have on my happiness in life!

How Much will the Dr. Sowell Method Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry Cost?

You've made the right choice to get your dental care done with Dr. Sowell's unique Method™ of Dentistry. Almost every client that Dr. Sowell sees finds that there is still hope and several options to choose from. After you choose one of Dr. Sowell's exclusive options to permanently solve your problems, you'll feel great about yourself having regained the normal chewing, long-lasting beauty, and comfort that you deserve.

Prospective clients often call and ask, "just give me a ballpark estimate on cost." The truth is that a "ballpark" is where the Rangers play and attempting to give you a range of costs for your specific situation over the phone is impossible without a diagnostic visit since your problems and needs are unique just to you. If we tried to have a "one-size-fits-all fee," some clients would underpay and others would overpay. Hardly anyone would feel this is being fair. Thus, the entire purpose behind the complete dental physical visit is so that Dr. Sowell can give you your "one-of-a-kind" specific options with exact and complete costs.

Dentistry that works well is expensive; just like everything else in life these days. We wish it wasn't true but it is. The good news is that you will have a hard time naming another investment you can make in yourself that provides the dividends of a pleasing smile and comfortable chewing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Here are some general rules about cost. The actual fee for your care will likely be 4-5 times the amount you will ever guess. Here's a rule of thumb for clients with serious dental problems. For every year you weren't taking care of your dentistry, or for every year you have been wearing bone destroying dentures or partial dentures, the cost to play "catch up" increases. For patients who need "whole mouth solutions (replacing all their teeth supported by implants), the range is $8,000 to $50,000 per arch depending on the severity of neglect and what the patient chooses. This is an unfortunate side effect for not getting things done, the damaging consequences of long-term denture and partial denture wear, or for just ignoring things over time.

The cost for sedation care, if no dental implants are involved, starts at $4,000-$5,000 and goes up based on how serious your problems and your specific wants for your situation.

As you can see for any type of complex dental care, there is no way to arrive at an exact fee without a complete dental physical being performed.

Medical and Dental insurance

Even though the latest dental technologies are considered medically necessary and are scientifically proven, dental plan coverage to rescue the worst dental disaster client hardly touches what is needed to get you back to the healthy life of eating and self-confidence you deserve. The objective of the insurance company is to give you the cheapest possible care. This seldom provides for anything beyond basic generic emergency-based treatment which is not what Dr. Sowell  Method™ Dentistry is about. We will file your insurance for you and do all we can to maximize your insurance benefit.
