How Do Teeth-In-A-Day Work?
Teeth-In-A-Day requires the placement of a minimum of 4 dental implants for each denture. The implants are placed at a precise angle into the healthiest bone tissue available. If there are teeth that need to be extracted, Dr. Sowell can remove them at the same time he places the implants. This helps save patients time and money by reducing the need for additional visits to the dentist.
Once teeth are removed and implants are placed, Dr. Sowell will fit the patient with a temporary healing denture. The temporary denture will allow patients to smile confidently while their implants heal. During the healing process patients are still expected to stick to a soft diet so the implants are allowed to fully fuse with the bone tissue.
