Teeth In A Day An Overview
Do you have badly damaged teeth or loose teeth from advanced gum disease & have put off treatment because you do not want dentures? Dr. Mark Sowell has great news for you!
People who have teeth that are badly damaged and not savable are often reluctant to have their teeth removed, as they do not want to walk out with a denture in their mouth for several months. Thus they often avoid treatment and let the infection get worse and worse in their mouth. Now there is a solution; they call it “teeth in a day.”

Teeth In A Day What to Expect
Teeth in a Day is the name for a procedure in which you have all of your teeth removed and replaced with dental implants in a single visit. Plano, TX dentist, Dr. Sowell will place four or more dental implants to secure a denture or hybrid bridge, immediately restoring function and aesthetics to your smile.
The initial restoration will be a temporary denture or bridge which will stabilize the implants and aid in the healing process. Once the implants have integrated, you will have your permanent fixed/detachable titanium/acrylic bridge secured into place.
Dental Implants vs. Dentures
Dental implants are now considered the standard of care for those missing all of their upper and/or lower teeth. In years past, the only solution for those missing all of their teeth was a conventional denture. Because dentures are the least expensive solution and because many people don’t realize they have other options, millions of Americans still wear an upper or lower denture. However, although they may pay a low cost for dentures, they pay a high cost in quality of life and risk long-term damage to their bone volume and facial appearance.
Implant Dentist, Dr. Mark Sowell can create the ideal solution for those who are considering replacing their current dentures or looking for an alternative to dentures. There are a few options available for those who are missing all of their teeth from the upper and/or lower arches of the mouth.
Patients who already have a denture do not mind having implants placed and while waiting for the implants to integrate (heal) can still wear their dentures.
